Street Smart: Stylish Madisonians Out and About

Chloe Baum

Chloe Baum describes her look as “looking good without trying too hard.” In an army green jacket, black leggings and spring boots, she looks fashionably comfortable. Animal print is especially hot this spring and Chloe translates the trend by adding a thin cheetah-print scarf to her outfit; it stands out without overwhelming her frame. Stripes continue to be popular this spring as well and Chloe’s basic black and white striped top is a nice backdrop for her layering pieces. What is on Chloe’s shopping list for spring? “I’m looking for a floral dress and wedges,” she says.

Tyler Muller

In a navy blazer, blue tie, faded jeans and Toms shoes, Tyler Muller’s look is classic; in this outfit, he could head straight from work to a bar for happy hour without a problem. Layering is key for spring when warm sunny days are often intermixed with cool rainy mornings. In this outfit, Tyler can adjust his number of pieces to best suit the weather. Spring is also a great time to start integrating summer staples, such as sandals, into your everyday look. “A good pair of sandals can really make an outfit,” Tyler says.
