The other Olsen is taking Hollywood by storm. Elizabeth Olsen, younger sister to Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, recently finished filming the much-anticipated indie flick Martha Marcy May Marlene, and was featured in the October issue of GQ. And the longer this up and coming starlet stays in the spotlight, the more fashionable she seems to become.
Olsen describes her style as comfortable and a little masculine. In an interview with glam.com, she disclosed that her favorite brands include Chanel, Celine, Carven and Stella McCartney. She also confessed to loving masculine suits with a feminine twist. We’re seeing recurring vintage touches to her typical looks as well.
When it comes to the red carpet, Olsen often reaches for a glamorous vintage look. She made waves at the premier of her soon-to-be-released film premiere with this flouncy black dress.
She hit another fashion homerun in the same vintage vein in May, on the Cannes red carpet with this flapper look.
When Olsen goes for a casual look, she often turns to looks with bohemian or vintage flourishes. And with them, she piles on mounds of one-of-a-kind jewelry.
For a more put-together look, Olsen turns to retro patterns, made dressier with unique jewelry. Her outfit pictured below shows off her ability to pair unexpected pieces together and still look fabulous.
Olsen claims the fashion scene overwhelms her, but her style says otherwise. Her unique look has proven that she’s very much a part of it.
