I ran into my friend Julian outside of the Coopers Tavern. Julian never fails to impress, especially with his all-black ensemble, accessorizing with a hat, scarf and watch.
The son of a model, Julian tells me that he that from a young age he was consciously and unconsciously always surrounded and learning about fashion. Laughing, he remarks: “I did also have my fair time of not being fashionable.”
When I ask if he has any advice for guys who are working on their style, he says that fashion is about stepping out of the box, and one shouldn’t feel as if there are restraints. His icon? “Michael Jackson. He was really able to style and dress beyond society’s norms.”
