Kate Upton is the cover girl for Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Edition. Upton has been the center of attention recently due to the fact that she is not as thin as other Swimsuit Edition cover girls have been in past. She is being hailed for presenting a healthy body image.

Zelda Kaplan died at Joanna Mastroianni’s runway show Wednesday. The 95-year-old New York socialite collapsed shortly after the show started. Kaplan is known for clubbing and partying, humanitarian efforts in Africa and has been a fixture in the fashion world. In 2003, HBO aired a documentary about Kaplan titled “Her Name is Zelda.”
Stella McCartney raised the bar for London Fashion Week with a dinner show. At the show, among decadent food, disguised models and dancers leaped up onto the dinner tables and performed a modern ballet number to a Led Zeppelin song. McCartney even performed a card trick. British newspaper The Guardian says that McCartney’s show “will go down in fashion history.” Her highly unusual presentation of a fall/winter collection has been widely praised by critics.
Adele is having a great comeback after winning six Grammys and gracing the cover of March Vogue. The pop singer recently received vocal chord surgery, but she came back stronger then ever performing at the Grammys and sweeping every category she was nominated in. Amidst rumors that she’s taking a five-year break, Adele is going back to the recording studio.
