You Might Have Heard: Fashion News of the Week

Age Defying
Agyness Deyn reveals her true age to the public.  Rumors have been swirling for a while that model Agyness Deyn has been lying about her age.  Well, this past week Deyn admitted that the rumors were true.  Previously thought to be 23, she has confirmed her age as 29.  Deyn says she lied about her age for commercial reasons since models today are expected to be very young.

PFW: Spring 2012
Paris Fashion Week is already underway after the successful wrap up of Milan Fashion Week.  The likes of Dior, Lanvin, and and Nina Ricci among others will be presenting their Fall collections this week.  Keep up with Paris Fashion Week here.

Post-Oscar Rumors
Anglina Jolie strikes the now-infamous right leg pose at the Oscars.  Her gam has recently received media attention and even has its own Twitter account after wearing an Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high slit and showing off her leg to the world.   Many photo spoofs have been popping up all over the web and some people even speculate she was trying to hide a pregnancy.

New Judge For ANTM
Kelly Cutrone is the newest judge on America’s Next Top Model.  Famous fashion publicist Cutrone is known for her say-it-like-it-is attitude and doesn’t shy away from dropping the f-bomb.  Cutrone says she will judge the contestants fairly and won’t shy away from dishing out harsh criticisms if it’s deserved.

A New Swan For Dior
Mila Kunis is the new face for Dior.  The actress was spotted at a photo shoot for an ad for Dior this past Thursday.  The shoot was aboard a boat on the Seine River in Paris.  You can check out the photos from her shoot here.

Singer Turned Designer
Best Coast singer is designing a collection for Urban Outfitters.  Lead singer Bethany Cosentino went to school briefly to study fashion and the collection was inspired by her own experiences thrift shopping.  The collection borrows its style from Clueless, 90s valley girls’ asethics and Stevie Nicks.
