After countless cartwheels down the runway, Betsey Johnson turns 70! So how else to celebrate besides a presentation at fashion week? Betsey’s show included 90 looks, a performance by Cyndi Lauper, and…a live pig. The clothes (and atmosphere) fit the general style of Betsey Johnson: colorful, a wee bit poufy, and splendidly girly.

Tory Burch decided to go global with her spring collection. With elements from Ghana, Morocco, and New Guinea, her assortment could make anyone a jetsetter. All models sported messy fishtail braids that seemed endless, and wore the daintiest of slippers.

Print lovers rejoice! Chris Benz has got you covered for quite some time. His show was a sea of bright colors, florals, and polka dots. Instead of a classic runway show, Benz had models on embellished wooden crates in a delightful presentation for all to see.

Tibi decided to take a trip down a more edgy runway for Spring 2013. Although known for its fun colors and contemporary feel, this season the brand instead showed a color palette of black and white. With hints of pastels and lace the line was drawn at the perfect balance of edgy and sweet.

Bollywood met the West in Marchesa Spring 2013. With styles ranging from gorgeously draped gowns to the occasional midriff barring top, the show presented a very different vibe than others. For a color palette, the house incorporated a number of jewel tones and shocking notes of ivory. Ultimately, the exotic aura of the show left audiences inspired!
