When most people think of the Old Fashioned, they envision home style food, to-die-for cheese curds and burgers with unique toppings. But at night the restaurant transforms into much more than that. The dimly lit bar is typically filled with young professionals chatting over trendy alternative music. The atmosphere is casual yet still presents a more sophisticated vibe than many college-town bars, making the Old Fashioned a great place to go when you’re looking to class it up a bit. With over 150 Wisconsin beers, a fully stocked bar and a seasonal beer featured monthly, this is your one stop spot for affordable, high quality beer. Pints run from $2.50 to $4 and featured pitchers are around $9, while other drafts range from $6 to $14.

Additionally, the Old Fashioned offers “Double Bubble” happy hour Monday through Thursday two times a day.  But if that doesn’t do it for you, two must have drinks are the Bloody Mary and the classic Old Fashioned. The Bloody is loaded with veggies and has the perfect amount of spice, while the Old Fashioned is garnished with oranges and cherries and has a great blend of bitter and sweet taste. Top off your drink with a huge slice of beef jerky or try the pickled turkey gizzards if you’re feeling brave.
