Studio 924 is an Aveda Concept Salon/Spa located at 924 East Johnson Street. They do full spa and hair treatments with all cuts, colors, and styles. In addition to that, they do scalp massages prior to each treatment. Via the spa, they provide nail, facial, waxing, and make- up services.
I went to Studio 924 back in January when I was looking for a cute, edgy, short look for winter. My hair dresser was Jen, and she was very professional and considerate. I had always gotten my hair cut by a particular person, and I’d say I’m very picky with my hair.
However, Jen listened to what I want and what I didn’t want, and she did just that. She gave me suggestions on styles while catering to what I wanted. My hair grew out a little throughout the semester, so I went back to Studio 924 around April for a new look for spring and summer. That time, I went to a different hairstylist, and she was very friendly and considerate as well. Moreover, I had dyed my hair a few times so it was very dry and unhealthy. The hairdresser conditioned and specially treated my hair without any charge while minding the type of cut I was looking for.
I would say that the overall staff at Aveda provide very good service and are attentive listeners. They suggest what works and what doesn’t, but still cater to what their customers want. I would definitely recommend giving Studio 924 a try for any sort of cut, color, or style.
