Running up Charter on my way to class, I spotted Mike in a fantastic graphic tee, layered under a red flannel button-down. An international traveler who has spent time on several continents, in countries including Senegal and Brazil, ease and comfort with an international touch are essential components of his personal style. And though Mike maintains that he does not put too much effort into his daily wardrobe, his everyday style exudes personality.
Layering has been a trend for some time, but we often see it in lackluster form come cooler weather as we pile on sweatshirts and parkas. Mike’s take on the trend uses his flannel as a jacket more than a shirt, adding a new dimension to the look. The graphic tee, from threadless.com, features a multicolored moon dripping colors, surrounded by stars. His outfit features a little international flair through the one-of-a-kind leather bracelet, which was handmade by an artist in Brazil.
Like Mike, let your own life inspire you this season and conquer layers in a brand new way!
