Though everyone loves to harp on Kristen Stewart’s characteristic single emotion, now while wearing designer dresses in the spotlight, we see a fully-fledged style icon, a stark evolution from the girl that premiered the deer-in-the-headlights look for the first installment of Twilight.
We all know a great dress can provide the confidence boost needed to celebrate ourselves and grow into the roles we’re born to play. And as Stewart’s roles broaden and mature on screen, so too does her style mature off screen. With fashion risks in bold couture, sheer sexy numbers, and a general penchant for unique pieces, Kristen always stays true to herself and her tastes.
The toast of the red carpet while premiering her new film, On the Road, as well as the final film in the Twilight saga, looking back, Stewart has worn some impressive pieces – equally edgy in design and scant in skirt. KStew brings her edgy style to high fashion and trades in the high tops for high heels. Though her street style continues to epitomize casual, with a tad bit of grunge, her Vogue cover in February 2011 catapulted her into a new status as muse to top designers Proenza Schouler and, more recently, Balenciaga.
The one-look-wonder no more, Stewart promises to impress at future events with high fashion – and seriously cool high-risk style.
