Kim Kardashian is no longer the only one of her family to make her mark on the fashion industry. Her two younger half sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, may be younger than most of the fashion world, but with a combined total of nearly 10 million Instagram followers, they’re beginning to use their youth to their advantage.
Whereas Kim is well known in the fashion industry for her sultry, seductive short dresses and defined curves, Kendall and Kylie Jenner are known for their California-chic, fun and easy going wardrobes. They’ve become more than just TV stars from Keeping Up With the Kardashians. In fact, fashion inspiration from the Jenner girls is just a pocket away via apps like Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr.
The girls have hit it big in 2012 and 2013. Despite their young age, Kendall and Kylie are fearless in making their mark on the fashion world. Kendall, the older of the two, has long pursued a career in modeling with Wilhelmenia models. Kylie, at 15, has begun modeling as well – featured in advertisements for brands like Sears.
Along with their popularity growing on Instagram, the two have a YouTube show called “Keeping up with Kendall and Kylie” which has attracted an enormous amount of viewers – debatably even more so than their family’s racy and borderline annoying TV show.
In 2012, the sisters were honored with Hollywood Style Awards “Most Stylish Sisters”. In addition, the girls were featured on the cover of Seventeen magazine and were named remote West Coast stylists for the publication, further strengthening their young fashion-crazed fan base.
In February, the two sisters debuted a line of teen clothing at PacSun, bringing the store enormous publicity with the stylish, California-inspired pieces perfect for summer. You can still find the line in stores and online here.
