It’s been another terrific season at the shows, as the “Big four” fashion weeks, New York, London, Milan, and Paris, have come to a close. The final leg of this fashion month was just held in Paris, where men from all ends of the celebrity spectrum show up looking riche.
- Because it wouldn’t be fashion week without him, Kanye West was of course in attendance. West hit Paris hard this year and was seen donning a blue suede sweatshirt by Haider Ackermann and beige-tan boots by Bottega Veneta, jeans by Raf Simons, and shirts by Givenchy. In my favorite look that Kanye sported; a dark blue trench coat by Dries Van Noten was perfectly accented by gold intricate designs along the midsection and collar.
- Coming off his much-anticipated debut album, Rodeo, Travis Scott made an appearance at this year’s Paris Fashion Week. Scott was seen at Vogue’s 95th anniversary party wearing a white shirt with a camouflaged Supreme logo, white pants with laces running down the seams, and white Air Jordan sneakers. Scott nailed a swollen but not too puffy fur coat. Travis was also in attendance at the Balmain and Vetements fashion shows sitting alongside fellow hype man Diplo in the front row. At the Balmain ready-to-wear fashion show, Scott went with a more understated, comfortable look in an all black ensemble from head to toe.
- Eccentric Suicide Squad star and 30 seconds to becoming a martian Jared Leto, was seen wandering the streets of the French capital in well, some fittingly bizarre clothing. Leto wore cartoon-covered pants paired with an equally unusual, colorful poncho. He rocked clean white Asics and also wore aviators to block any wayward hater-rays. The man’s hairstyles have absolutely run the gamut and the current iteration doesn’t disappoint in its pink form. If not for the influence of his upcoming role as the Joker, there would be some serious reparations to pay for Leto’s style transgressions.
- Family Feud host and all around funny mustache Steve Harvey was seen gallivanting around Paris with his lovely wife Marjorie. Harvey was present at the Elie Saab show and was seated in the front row. Steve looked every bit the dapper dandy in a black dress shirt under a brownish-purplish pinstripe suit. Yes, brown on black is fair game, show host. The accompanying brown polka-dotted pocket square was a kitschy-klean daytime t.v. flex gone right. Well done, Mr. Harvey.
