UW Street Style: An Indecisive Spring

by Ashley Ng, Fashion News Correspondent

An Introduction to UW Street Style…

When you walk down the streets of UW-Madison, you’ll encounter all of the traits that represent our beloved campus: school pride, progressive attitudes, and striking diversity. We’re inspired by the strangers we pass on a daily basis and are intrigued by every individual’s self expression. While we are united as Badgers, the distinction of our attire has never been clearer. Through UW Street Style, we hope to share what defines campus style and what inspires our everyday looks.

An Indecisive Spring

In Wisconsin, spring likes to tease us with a game of hide-and-seek. One day, we bask in warm weather and the next day, the sun vanishes, leaving us trapped in a snowstorm. So when it reaches 60 degrees, there’s no doubt everyone will be breaking out of their parkas and into their light sweaters just to enjoy that momentary bliss. Riding boots, rolled up jeans, and sunglasses await eagerly from the back of our closets, begging us to be worn. And we are equally excited to transition from warm neutrals to vibrant pops of colors.
