UGG’s Cool Chung Makeover
UGG has been a fan favorite as well as a victim of criticism over the past few years. People mostly either completely love or hate their signature shearling boot. Now, they are making some changes as British Vogue editor and fashion star, Alexa Chung, has been announced as the art director for UGG’s next campaign. Chung explains that she hopes to bring a cool, relaxed vibe with more of a city feel compared to the brand’s outdoor-associated past. Cleo Wade is an example of just one of the It Girls that Chung incorporated into the campaign. Can UGG overcome its early 2000s stereotype?
J.Crew Gets Active With New Balance
This line just launched Tuesday, October 11th and is designed to make working out more exciting with infusion of bright colors and fabrics. For their campaign, they cast non-models to wear the clothing in hopes of connecting with a wide female audience. The goal of the line is to make women feel confident while wearing their pieces, no matter what activity they are doing. The collection will contain 20 pieces and be affordable with prices ranging from $15-200.
Gigi Rocks the Reeboks
Athleisure has been immensely popular for the past year or so. While Adidas took a strong lead last year, our old childhood Reebok has surprised us with a comeback. One of street style’s favorite It Girls, Gigi Hadid, wore these Reeboks and partnered with the brands #PerfectNever campaign on Snapchat.

Kim K was held at gunpoint and robbed at her apartment in Paris. The robbers supposedly took around $10 million worth of jewelry including Kim’s engagement ring. Yikes!
