Fashion News Recap: Target’s Next Collaboration, Overalls by We Wore What & Kenzo x H&M’s Bold Show
TARGET SPICES IT UP
Get your wallets ready because Target has announced their next big collaboration! Mark you calendars for April 2017 because the retailer has decided to pair up with former Spice Girl and fashion designer, Victoria Beckham for VVB (Victoria Victoria Beckham), according to the company’s corporate website. This is also the first Target collaboration line that will have plus sized options available as well. The line will have over 200 pieces with nothing costing over $70. It will include pieces for women, children, toddlers and babies.
MEET YOUR SECOND SKIN
Famous blogger and University of Wisconsin alumni, Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What, launched her own line of denim overalls this past week called Second Skin Overalls. She started this with her own money and was heavily involved in the construction process, according to Fashionista. The first collection is comprised of basics pieces, but she plans to branch off with different styles and textures in the future. The pieces cost from $185 to $230. Her focus in creating these overalls is creating flattering fits. If you’ve struggled with overalls in the past this could be the line for you.
VIBRANT BEATS AND CLOTHES
With the release of the Kenzo x H&M collaboration quickly approaching, the line was promoted with a fashion show in New York City. The show slightly broke from traditional form with models dancing down the runway including a surprise performance by Ice Cube, according to Dazed. Fitting with Kenzo’s style, vibrant colors and funky animal prints were heavily featured in the looks. The items in the 95-piece collection are all available to be viewed online. The line is available on November 3rd. Buy quick, pieces will sell out fast!
