Channeling the edgier styles associated with late-sixties and early-seventies fashion, the fall 2013 Emilio Pucci collection highlighted sultry silhouettes by raising hemlines and accessorizing with bold, thigh-high boots. Deviating from the more obvious seasonal trends of tweed and leather, designer Peter Dundas played with animal prints and colorful patterns to create a truly intriguing contrast.

In this featured Emilio Pucci look, the cut-out knit top paired with an animal print belt and patterned, fluted hem skirt work together to produce visually interesting yet chic ensemble. Known for designing clothes that “women want to put on and men want to take off,” Dundas encourages fashionistas to play up their sex appeal in a way that is irresistible without being too overbearing. Adding the perfect toned-down touch to this runway ensemble, Dundas’s model wore a pair over-the-knee, suede cognac boots; creating a sexy-yet-casual and ever-so-cool look.
