It can be hard to find a balance between looking polished and staying comfortable, especially when having to juggle a full schedule during midterms. Yet Peter, whose incredible J. Crew jacket stole my attention from my General Business professor, seems to have mastered this balancing act. Describing his style as “professionalism spilling over into casual,” Peter possesses the foundation for creating perfect, classroom-ready ensembles. It is style like this that gives an otherwise basic look of a tee and sneakers a polished and put-together feel.

As I previously alluded to when mentioning Peter’s fantastic jacket, Peter’s professionally-styled look seems as though it was freshly plucked off one of the pages in a J. Crew catalogue. Classic by nature yet trendy on sight, Peter’s juxtaposition of refined and bold pieces gives his style a dynamic feel. The pop of color in his sneakers is the perfect example of this, as he adds a touch of excitement to his outfit adding an element of casualness and personality without deviating from his polished presentation. Thus for all of you boys out there, take note: casual doesn’t mean sloppy and classic most certainly does not mean boring. Allow Peter to be your living proof.
