Runway Your Way: Luxe Leather

by Emily Weiss, Contributing Writer

Featuring a combination of white lapels, tuxedo pants and leather, the runway show featured styles that deviated from her classic boho look. Going for a 70’s equestrian vibe with some rock n’ roll edge, the collection showed Zoe’s versatility as a designer. Her typical Saint Laurent tailoring was traded for even more tailored looks with a touch of masculinity. The collection featured three-piece suits, leather trousers, and an emphasis on outerwear. Being for LA, no one can master the relaxed yet glam look better than Zoe.

In this featured look, leather is the key.  The matte leather skirt and boots paired beautifully Zoe’s black, leather-trimmed overcoat. Completing the ensemble was a basic, effortless top which gave the look simple, yet ever-so-fabulous touch. Though mundane, the shirt allows this look to translate off the runway into an outfit that is applicable to the ordinary woman’s lifestyle. By stepping out of her “boho box” Zoe was able to experiment with other styles to create an edgier, more modern look. To quote the fashionista herself, the collection was “maj” and nearly impossible not to love.
